My name is Missak Artinian and I am a graduate from University of Mary Washington.  My major is in English, with a concentration in creative writing. I wish to pursue a career as a writer in the entertainment industry, in either gaming, television, or film.  I’ve tested the waters of numerous genres and narrative styles, including editorials, short stories, and screenplays.

Thus, I have mastered the core principles of engaging story-telling — the importance of authentic voice in dialogue, the necessity of conflict, and the complex layers of character development so essential for the audience’s immersion into the diegetic world.

I’ve also pursued many successful independent projects. During my college career, I’ve collaborated with five highly talented individuals to create a successful literary journal dedicated to humor called The Tomfoolery Review.   I’ve started my own E-Commerce business over EBay, selling over a thousand items and garnering over 300 positive reviews.  I’ve also created two digital identities using WordPress as a publishing platform.
